by Neta Margret Cajstam Visit Date:February 27, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "This is a very nice hotel! Me and my friend stayed there for 5 nights in february 2012. Clean, spacious room (409)with a view of the pool , nice and friendly staff. Good location with a 7-eleven right outside, about 5-10 minutes walk to Kata beach. Great taxiservice! 150 bath to Kata Noi. The breakfastbuffé was good with the most common things: cereals, toast, vegetables, fruit, eggs, jam, pancakes, juice, milk, water, tea, coffee, thaifood...etc. Not very big, but enough. I would stay there again." |

by Sanna & Lars Visit Date:February 19, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "We stayed for two nights in a wooden bungalow and it was amazing! Can strongly recommend this place! Very nice environments and peaceful pool-area. The food was excellent as well! Not very much noise from the bars around. We would definitely go back there!" |
by Scheiwiller James Visit Date:February 12, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "rooms are clean low standart and no safe in the room/only at the reception. the breakfast was very very poor!!! the people are very nice but are not very well trained, don t really understand much English. Watch out with the fairies trip we were told that we could take the fairy to phi phi and make it in one day to Koh Samui which was totally wrong, we got wrong information from the reception! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Darcey Visit Date:July 2, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Overall our stay was perfect, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Kata Beach area for either a relaxing holiday or as a base to explore other areas of Phuket. We went as a couple which it was perfect for, but seems like it d be great for families too.The staff were really friendly and helpful, we even got upgraded to one of the poolside rooms. Very efficient when booking travel tickets for us.The rooms were really clean and had everything you needed. The actual grounds were really nice and well kept up, the amount of trees and folliage made it feel much more private and relaxed. The resturant wasn t open during our stay (june/july) due to renovation work, however the breakfasts were still being served in the smaller cafe area. Also there are plenty of resturants just along the road, and a convenience shop just next door, so this wasn t an issue. The actual location was good, a few minutes walk from all the shops, resturants, bars and beach...but just far enough to be a little quieter. As we stayed during low season, and there were very few guests, the pool bar and cafe areas were closed. Also due to renovation work there was a little noise and the electricity was cut on a few occasions during the daytime. We were however warned beforehand that there may be a little disruption but the staff did make every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. These points still wouldn t put us off staying again, especially as in low season it s very good value for money. Personaly we don t choose hotels for the facilities as we don t spend that much time there. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Nick Wreden Visit Date:March 21, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Everyone starts a review off by saying how nice the staff was. Yes, the staff was nice, but it must be remembered that almost everyone in Thailand is polite and kind, almost to a fault. We rented a bungalow for five days, close to the front but still fortunately far enough away from the traffic noise. It was roomy, but as basic as a tent -- no phone in room, no electrical outlets in bathroom, with a small TV still festoned with showroom stickers. There were chinks in the walls, providing a freeway for mosquitoes to pour in throughout the night. The bathroom was also semi-open, which meant that it couldn t be air conditioned. The safety latch on the door was hanging by a single screw, so we were careful to always use the free safe deposit boxes at the front (large enough for a laptop), although it was a bit of a pain to always be asking the staff to open the boxes. A driveway extends through the middle of the facility, and all day long there is an endless variety of trucks and cars -- laundry trucks, food trucks, garbage trucks, pickup trucks, landscaping trucks, delivery trucks going in and out, just like it was the back of a shopping mart. You have to go to the front desk to use the wireless, and the staff never could get it to work with my Mac. Bed was OK, but probably needs replacing, along with the frayed towels. Breakfast was also basic -- only plain omelets, no cheese, ham, onion, green peppers, etc. Even fruit, which is cheap and plentiful in Thailand, was limited to pineapple, watermelon and bananas. I would have given it three stars for passable but a last-minute incident soured me on the place. We had left a small drinking glass from the room by the pool, and the hotel insisted on charging me 100 Baht. I live in Malaysia, and travel frequently to Thailand, and this was the worst mid-range hotel I ve ever stayed at. Bottom line: You won t have a bad experience here, but neither will you have an experience that matches what you are expecting from a wonderful vacation to Thailand, which I love immensely. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
